Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando Reviews

See What Others Have Said About Their Stay

While we consider ourselves one of the best hotels in Orlando, it only matters if our guests agree. If you’re planning a visit to Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, we invite you to see us through the eyes of your fellow travelers by reading the hotel reviews below.

Loved this hotel! It is our second time staying here. The room was clean and has super comfortable beds and the bed sheets are not paper thin like in other hotels we had stayed in international drive. Starting with front desk clerk Cynthia who was so helpful and made our check-in a breeze. Not only do they have a variety of foods in the dining area, the staff is super friendly. Our server Amelia was a true delight, very attentive, polite and remembered us from our last stay. All in all kudos to the management and staff for running such an excellent hotel. I highly recommend it YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

We were really surprised how good this hotel was as it was very reasonably priced and only a 3 star. Rooms were huge and well equipped. They were cleaned every day and kept spotless. It has an amazing buffet restaurant where we had evening meals and breakfast. A great pool with poolside bar and a well stocked shop. It had everything we needed including a free shuttle to universal studios . The staff were really nice and helpful as well . I would highly recommend this hotel.

Spent two weeks here at the end of April, and we loved it. If we are in Orlando again, we would for sure stay here again. The hotel has everything you will need. There are several pools, and the hotel does provide pool towels (which they kindly let us use one day for a water park!). There is a very well-stocked convenience store, which you can access 24/7, a small but well-stocked gift shop, which also ties as a coffee shop serving Starbucks products. Zebra's Sports Bar is brilliant! The food there was good, the drinks even better :) I even got my local bar back home to try and recreate the "Hurricane” cocktail because I missed them so much! Shoutout to Will who was so attentive and great to chat to in general. There is a pool table also. Rooms are clean and very spacious. We had more than enough room for two of us, even opting to sleep in separate beds to make the most of the space! Beds are comfortable. There is a desk, TV, good sized closet, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, microwave and a fridge. There is a coffee machine, but no kettle, unfortunately. We stayed on the ground floor, block D, overlooking the car park. It was a great spot, not too far from reception. Wi-Fi was good. Only niggle is sometimes, we could hear luggage/trolleys passing by in the early hours, but it was easy enough to fall back to sleep afterwards. Every staff member we came across, in one capacity or another, was polite and friendly. If you are checking out and have a late flight, they will hold your luggage for you in the business center free of charge. Location was perfect for us, with so many amenities, bars and restaurants nearby. It was convenient to get to and from the parks, with Ubers costing us anywhere between $8-$15/20 to Universal depending on the time/demand. Also, the free shuttles provided to Universal were great. These usually needed to be booked the day before. But we were lucky that on three occasions that we decided to use the shuttle I went to the desk at 7 a.m. on the day and managed to get a space. Disney was also within good distance, costing us anywhere between $15-$30 depending on demand. Pointe Orlando has lots of options of good bars, restaurants and arcades. There is also Dave & Busters, which is a 2 to 3-minute walk away. Also, the I-Ride Trolley stop is right outside the hotel, which was extremely convenient and so easy to get on. We used this when we went to SeaWorld. Genuinely really happy we opted for Rosen Inn at Pointe as our "base" for our holiday. See you again in the future.

We were traveling around Florida and stayed three times at this hotel during our two weeks. We have stayed here several times previously, and it never fails to live up to our expectations. It’s clean, comfortable, great location, has all the facilities that you could possibly want. A special mention to the wonderful, welcoming, friendly and professional staff. One member on reception said, “Welcome home,” she couldn’t have been more correct, as due to her that’s how we felt. Problem with safe was dealt with in 10 minutes after reporting it. Honestly cannot praise the staff highly enough. We will be back in September, and I can’t wait.

This was my first time staying in a hotel in Orlando as we usually hire a villa. It was great to experience Orlando without a hire car. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's not the most modern, but it's clean with daily housekeeping, which seems to be rare in the U.S. these days. There's a good buzz around the hotel and good atmosphere at the Zebra Bar. Only negative was that the pools were not cool enough; felt like a bath, which is not ideal in the current heatwave. Also, the little store in the hotel is super expensive; $5 for an ice cream. However, I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

We stayed at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando. It is a great hotel in a great location; the rooms and hotel are very clean, and the breakfast is nice with plenty of choices. The rooms are very dated and quite dark in their decoration. We were given a ground floor, which could be quite noisy when other guests were walking past very late. The on-site shop is brilliant for most things: snacks, drinks, toiletries, and basic medical supplies. The pools were very nice, but for the heat we had, there were not enough umbrellas to go around. The complimentary pool towels are a great touch. The Wi-Fi is very hit or miss; it dropped out regularly and you had to keep logging on again, but that’s not a great problem. On the whole, we had a great stay!

Spent two weeks at the hotel. As soon as we walked into reception, we were greeted with warm smiles. Our room was spotless, and our room was cleaned every day to a high spec. Housekeepers were so friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The pool was so good, cleaned often, and towels were replenished all the time. There's also a lift if you have someone using a wheelchair. The gardens were so nice, and pathways were kept clean. Staff at hotel were so friendly and helpful. As for food, not my cup of tea, but there are loads of eating places nearby. We are planning on returning for three weeks next time and couldn't ask for a better place to stay and at a great price. Highly recommended.

We always use this hotel when we come to Orlando. The location is excellent, there are no hidden fees, plenty of parking spaces, everything you need is on-site. We stayed for three nights in August, then three nights in September. In September we were on the fifth floor, the room was immaculate and had obviously just been cleaned; it smelled lovely and fresh, and the bed linen was pristine, and the bathroom was spotless. We had traveled from Nashville, and I was honestly so glad to return to this hotel. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. We will return again next year as we feel so welcome and comfortable in this hotel.

We’ve stayed here previously in 2015 for 16 nights, and at the time, I gave the place a less than favorable review. It didn’t deliver as promised and we were left disappointed. However, 8 years later we found ourselves back here. Mostly due to an error by our travel company and when we found out that we’d be getting sent here again my heart sank. But there was no need. The rooms have been internally decorated. It’s pretty much just a lick of paint, but it’s made a difference, and the disappearance of the old yellow walls is welcome. They were also performing some exterior work whilst we were there. I’m not sure what this was, but it was not obstructive and didn’t impact us at all. Nice to see the hotel is being invested in and improved regardless. Our room: Still basic, but the beds are very comfortable; the cleaners did a great job, and it was cleaned daily. It has high traffic areas all round, so expect the odd bit of wear and tear, but the reasonable price (for the area) reflects this. Fitness room was small but did the job. Pools were small, but there are three to choose from and again, decent. Shop is handy; a little more expensive than the supermarkets but convenient. The staff we dealt with were also all friendly. Security presence is high throughout the day and the night, and at no point did the property ever feel unsafe. A 180 from me on this place. I’ve gone from really not being keen at all to feeling as if I’d actually like to go back if I’m in the area again and need a hotel as I really enjoyed our week there.

Great hotel on I-Drive. Within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The hotel rooms are old-fashioned, but we found our room to be clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping does a great job, and every member of staff we spoke with was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has three pools, which are well kept and great for chilling out when coming back from the parks. We had breakfast included, which offered a good variety. Would not hesitate in booking this hotel for our next visit to Orlando.

We stayed here for 10 nights. We stayed in block G, which is the furthest away from the reception. We weren’t bothered by the noise from the busy main road running parallel to the hotel. During the day, the helicopter pad next to the hotel gave flights, which were a little noisy, however, we were out and about. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were friendly. It’s perfectly located for restaurants and entertainment all in a short walking distance. Lyfts to the parks were from $8 -$22 depending on the time of day and which park you were going to. You can book the free transportation to Universal parks the day before (limited spaces). The rooms are clean with a decent amount of space. Small microwave, fridge and coffee percolator in the corner of the sink area. You can see the Disney fireworks if you look out over the I-4 road in the evening. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

We visited here again and had the best time ever. Check in was a breeze, and we always request a high up room facing the freeway. Reason for this is that we watch the Disney fireworks from our balcony. We love the rooms there, which are cleaned every morning by very courteous people. It was my wife’s birthday the next morning and the staff at breakfast surprised her with a cake and a happy birthday song. The team at breakfast are amazing. Thank you so much to Mulu, Maylin and Jacquie for looking after us. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Also thanks to Chellenne on the on the register. Everyone who works there are so nice. We came back from the parks early that day as my wife wanted to watch Mark Good and his team, presenting the Kareoke in the Zebra’s bar at the hotel. (He is there on Mondays and Thursdays). This is always a great night and whether you want to get up or not, it’s a lot of fun. The bartenders there are awesome. Thank you so much to Ricardo, who was so much fun there. Great guys to know as well were Cyril, Kharyl and Will. All these guys are great at their job and always made us feel so welcome. On Saturday, we had Ira, the DJ, there. It was a rare treat as all his music was vinyl. It was so great to see and hear someone playing records. Lots of 80s tracks. Loved that. For us, this hotel is perfect. The location is great and a place we will return to over and over for as long as we can. Thank you everyone at the Rosen, for making our holiday, once again, the best one ever.

Rosen Inn is very well taken care of, clean, and every employee with whom I interacted was competent and professional. My room was comfortable. The heater was my only problem; I think it could not keep up with unseasonably cold temperatures. The hotel provided extra blankets. The buffet was excellent, well prepared, and had good choices.

Great service, nice accommodations, great restaurant (buffet). A nice time was definitely had. The gym was small, but other than that, a great place to stay. Close to everything for the convention center!

Have stayed here three times, each for two weeks at a time. It’s my favorite. Won’t ever stay anywhere else on a trip to Orlando. It’s absolutely spotless; can’t fault the service from the housekeeping, receptionists, etc. The beds are the comfiest. It’s the perfect location if you like International Drive. It’s a home away from home for us.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I only traveled for one night but found the location and amenities for a budget hotel very good. I will stay again. Parking is free, check-in was fast, and staff were great! I was asked if I wanted high floor or low floor; I requested high floor and put on seven. I did not hear any noise from neighbors. The only downside was the room faces I-Drive, and I could hear the cars. If I was staying longer, I would have asked to move and feel confident they would have. There are lifts to every floor; I never waited, and it was very quick. The room was slightly dated but a great size with a microwave, ironing board, iron, coffee, facilities, and was overall very clean! Not a mark in the shower, bedding perfectly made and clean, lots of towels. The room was a bit musky, but nothing overpowering and very common in these types of hotel rooms without lots of windows. I would 100% come again; great price and location.
