Five Things to do Within Five Minutes of Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando

On the mesmerizing strip of shop, eat, and play that is referred to as International Drive, there lies an oasis - the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando. The name itself is a testament to the convenience it boasts of being within walking distance of The Pointe, a renowned entertainment complex at the heart of Orlando’s tourist district.

That’s not the only nearby attraction, though. In fact, there are a plethora of things to do five minutes away (or less) from the hotel.

Whether you’re looking for family-fun entertainment, nightlife, or even a delicious brunch spot, here are five things to do within just five minutes of Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.

Pirate Cove Golf

Ahoy, Matey! International Drive’s Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf is a miniature golf course open year-round.

Pirate’s Cove – voted best miniature course in Florida by Orlando Magazine – offers two immersive 18-hole courses. For a mere $15.95 plus tax, you can choose between Captain’s Course or Blackbeard’s Challenge. If 18-holes isn’t enough, voyagers may be inclined to purchase both courses in a combo deal for $25.59 plus tax.

The mini-golf courses are open daily from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Both affordable and nearby, this is a great addition to your itinerary if you’re looking to stay close to the hotel.

WonderWorks

Much like The Pointe complex, the journey to WonderWorks Orlando doesn’t even require a car. In fact, an entire Orlando vacation is possible without a car.

This exhilarating mix between museum and indoor amusement park is right across the street from Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.

WonderWorks is an interactive museum that is situated right across the street from Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.

Everything is not what it seems, here. The building, sometimes referred to as “The Upside-Down House,” disorients guests as they walk through the entrance to find the floor above their heads and the ceiling beneath their feet.

The museum is extremely immersive (and educational!) with over 100 interactive exhibits sparking curiosity and imagination in visitors of all ages. On top of the exhibits, there’s also a glow-in-the-dark ropes course, laser-tag, and a “4D XD” motion theatre experience just to scratch the surface.

You can choose between different entertainment packages, all giving you a bang for your buck.

The Hampton Social

Vacation is all about slowing down to smell the rosé, right? The Hampton Social has an extensive drink selection for craft cocktail connoisseurs and wine aficionados alike. On top of the beautiful drinks, the Hampton Social also hosts an impressive coastal cuisine menu

Delicious dishes like scallop risotto or balsamic glazed skirt steak make it a great place to unwind and get brunch with your favorite people. Not only that, but the ambiance is a gorgeous brunch wonderland with live music and Instagrammable’ photo ops around every corner.

iFLY Orlando

If you want the adrenaline rush of jumping out of an airplane, but not the risk that comes along with it, iFLY Orlando is a one-of-a-kind experience that uses a vertical wind tunnel to simulate skydiving!

Self-proclaimed as the most unique venue on earth, iFLY is open daily and will host your birthday party, private event, or school field trip. The entire experience, including your check-in time, training session, and flight time, lasts about 45 minutes.

If you’re interested in this indoor skydiving adventure, be sure to check their website for what to expect before going.

I-Drive 360: ICON Park Orlando

Did you know that Orlando has an observation wheel that towers 400-foot above the city? At IDrive 360, better known as ICON Park, the options of what you can do are endless.

You can ride the Orlando Eye, “meet” your favorite celebrities at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, and even explore the deep sea at the SEA LIFE Aquarium. Then, at the end of an action-packed excursion, you can eat at one of the many different restaurants and bars on the property.

Though each experience is an additional cost, just to walk around is entertaining enough and completely free. If you are keen on trying out all it has to offer, you can opt to purchase bundle deals that include all attractions in one pass.
