Visiting Orlando means visiting the theme park capital of the world, but that’s not all. You’ll also be privy to Orlando’s world-class dining options. At the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, we’re always excited to point guests in the direction of first-rate restaurants, especially those that some consider a little off the beaten path (meaning more than a mile away from the parks, though we love those too).
Emeril Lagasse recently made his way through Orlando for his Cooking Channel show “Emeril’s Florida” visiting both of his restaurants at Universal Orlando® Resort, toured Disney Springs™, and explored further into the heart of Orlando. This episode highlights some of Orlando’s best restaurants.
He first visited his own two Orlando restaurants located on Universal Orlando® property: Emeril’s Orlando and Tchoup Chop. Both of these restaurants are within a few minutes of our Orlando hotel. Then he made his way over to the newly revamped Disney Springs™ to check out Chef Morimoto’s new pan-Asian restaurant Morimoto Asia.
Emeril also got his fill of southern comfort at The Coop in Winter Park. The Coop is from the same person that brought Orlando 4Rivers Smokehouse. The Coop features authentic, homemade southern dishes that are sure to fill you up.
Whether you’re here for a day, a week, or a lifetime, Orlando has some amazing food to be discovered. Start your culinary journey from the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.
