Vacation planning usually comes with a great deal of questions. Does my hotel have this? Do they do that? There are questions that come up more often than others, so let’s answer those questions, which may answer any that you have.
Transportation: What are my options? For the convenience of our guests we provide free shuttle services to Universal Orlando® Resort, Wet ‘n Wild®, Aquatica®, Discovery Cove®, and SeaWorld® Orlando. Disney shuttles are available for $17 per person, per round trip. Reservations for both shuttle services are required. Our guest service desk is available to assist with other transportation options such as taxi services and passes for the IRide Trolley, which regularly travels the length of International Drive. Car rentals are also available through Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which has a station at Rosen Centre Hotel, our sister property.
Online Orders: Can I send my packages to the hotel? Yes! We are pleased to receive orders on behalf of our guests. We ask that they not be sent more than one week prior to guest’s arrivals. There is a fee associated with this service that usually starts at $10 per package weighing 49 pounds or less. Any packages over 49 pounds will be charged based upon weight. Packages must be picked up by the guest whose name it was delivered under. Photo ID is required for pick up.
Amenities: What’s in a guestroom? Guestrooms have coffee makers, microwaves, mini refrigerators and free Wi-Fi. We provide coffee and cups for the in-room coffee makers. Guestrooms also include an electronic safe in which guests can store valuables. These safes are designed so that you can create your own personal pin codes for access. Guests also have control over the air-conditioning units in their guestrooms.

Most visitors to Orlando spend long days at the theme parks or traveling to coastal destinations. Regardless where you visit, buying meals and snacks on the road can take a bite out of vacation funds. Meal plans at the theme parks help cut costs, but if you are traveling with a family, the cost can still be a bit too much.
In an effort to help get the creative juices flowing, here are a few tips to help cut dining costs:
Eat breakfast. We’re not talking just a bagel and coffee, no. We’re talking a full meal—load up on carbs. Our breakfast buffet with a healthy variety of food will satisfy you for a long time. You should easily make it until noon before you’re hungry again.
Pack your own lunch. There are plenty of stores within walking distance where guests can pick up items to pack sandwiches or other lunch items. Theme parks won’t allow coolers, but you can certainly pack your meals and stow them in your backpacks. Our own Lite Bite Mini-Market offers cold sandwiches perfect for lunch.
Know your thirst. Our bodies usually can’t tell the difference between dehydration and hunger. It is very easy to mistake the two, so be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. It’s great that water fountains are everywhere! Another tip for quenching thirst is to purchase a souvenir cup. Some parks offer discounts on refills for those reusing a souvenir cup. Depending on how many refills you get, each drink could end up costing around $1—big savings!
Budget for snacks. It’s great to pack a snack, but honestly you’re going to want to buy something while you’re out. Consider limiting yourself to maybe one treat per person, per day, at the theme parks. Snacks can cost anywhere from $2 to $9 depending on what you select and where you are. Limiting your intake to one snack will both satisfy your craving and keep money in your pocket.
Be sure to check theme park websites for more dining information before your visit because one vacation expense you can’t always escape is food. At least you can plan appropriately and save some money.
