This weekend only – September 19 and 20, 2020 – Universal Studios opens two Halloween Horror Night houses during regular park hours: Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Revenge of the Tooth Fairy. No extra tickets needed. Entry is included with park admission. Universal’s Islands of Adventure also jumps in on the Halloween fun where participating shops will hand out candy to trick-or-treating guests ages 12 and younger – just look for the pumpkin signs. Bring back up and make it a family outing. Families and guests are welcome to wear family-friendly costumes at both parks this weekend only. Be sure to include a mask with your costume. Make a weekend out of it and stay close to the action at a Rosen hotel!

Epic Character Race
Run with your favorite characters during this first ever Epic Character race through Universal Orlando Resort. The course has yet to be defined but be prepared for a 5k run on 2/1/2020 or a 10k run on 2/2/2020. Both take you through the resort. Register and subscribe for updates on UniversalOrlando.com/RunningUniversal.
Registration for these epic events comes with some much coveted swag. You’ll get a themed dri-fit shirt and a race bib with a timing tag, all in a drawstring bag. Each participant gets a themed medal for completing the race, as well as a downloadable certificate of completion. If you upgrade to VIP Registration, you’ll also receive a reusable water bottle, character meet-and-greet with photo op, and a post-race breakfast.
All racers get complimentary self-parking on race days. Because the race starts so early, Universal Partner Hotel transportation will not be available. You’ll also get complimentary parking on scheduled packet pick-up days and times.
The races will take place well before the parks open. Each start at 5:30 a.m. For participants, there will be on-course and post-race refreshments. And for your adoring fans waiting to encourage you at key points of the race, there will be areas for them from which they can watch the races. (Registration for people watching the race is required.)
Of course, everyone who does race either the 5k or 10k will receive a specially-themed medal. This is the first year of what Universal hopes will become an annual event, so don’t miss the opportunity to be the first to receive this medal!

The room was nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable and the food was good. The price couldn’t have been better for the location. We walked to the convention center, restaurants and bars across the street.
Super hotel for all
This hotel was very good value, you get toiletries, coffee 1 cup machine, fridge, microwave, safe and free WiFi at no extra charge. Lovely clean rooms with great comfy beds. All the staff were very friendly and helpful across the whole site. Location was super, and right outside the hotel was bus stops if you do not have a car. Buses were very clean and reasonable priced. It is very handy to have a 24 hour shop on site for things you might have forgotten, and if you need something to eat. Three very clean pools, nice children’s play area, and pool tables and games room for teens. Security guard on duty 24/7 when you enter the parking lot, and on foot security guards walk every floor, felt very safe. We will definitely go back to this hotel, loved it, and would recommend to our friends.
