But in the summer, the water parks are where it’s at.  

Spend a sunny summer day splashing, swimming, and sliding as you keep cool and savor sweet vacay vibes. 

Walt Disney World Resort has two unique water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Each has its own unique theming and attractions with plenty of Disney charm.  

The summer of 2025 marks the first time in several years that both Disney water parks are open at the same time, through September 7, 2025. 

Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay is another family-friendly water park destination.  

Recognizable by its towering volcano, known as Krakatau, Volcano Bay has a variety of thrilling water coasters and slides to keep things exciting.
