We know your dog is like your family. Why not bring them along on your next family vacation?

Orlando is a dog-loving city with plenty to do alongside your pooch. And, with May being National Pet Month, there’s no better time to celebrate your pup!
Here are five of our favorite dog-friendly places in Orlando to visit with our dogs.
Key Takeaways
- Lake Baldwin Park
- RockPit Brewing
- Boxi Park
- BarkHaven
- Lake Eola Farmer's Market
- Dougie's Dog Bar
- Rest Your Paws at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando
Lake Baldwin Park

Lake Baldwin is a picturesque lake surrounded by a clean, paved 2.5-mile trail. The path itself is perfect for walking, running, and biking, with or without your dog.
Along the trail, you’ll find Lake Baldwin Park, a fenced-in 23-acre expanse where dogs are welcome to roam off-leash. This popular dog-friendly attraction is a favorite of Baldwin Park locals, though people drive from all across Orlando to bring their dogs to this awesome spot.
One of the biggest draws of the park is the sandy beach that leads into the lake, perfect for doggy paddling. When you’re ready to leave, there are dog showers by the main entrance where you can wash any sand and dirt out of your furry friend’s coat.
There’s also a nature trail where you and your pup can explore a more rugged terrain packed with Florida fauna and wildlife.
Lake Baldwin Park has plenty of shades (for humans and dogs), picnic tables, and a convenient pavilion with bathrooms.
Rock Pit Brewing

If there’s anything the people at Rock Pit Brewing love more than beer, it’s probably dogs.
They have a reputation for being an incredibly dog-friendly establishment and for having some of the tastiest beers in Orlando.
Whether you’re sitting indoors or outdoors, your leashed pup can join you for a brew and a bite. Their dog-loving staff will bring your pup water to stay hydrated, and maybe even a special treat.
You won’t have to worry about racing home to get back to your dog; you can take your time and enjoy knowing that your dog is right by your side.
Human guests can enjoy a variety of tasty in-house crafted beer, moonshine, cocktails, hard seltzers, and cider. Pair your drink with some flavorful food from Cecil’s Texas Style Bar-B-Q while you’re there.
Boxi Park

Lake Nona is a rapidly growing area with a variety of new restaurants, shops, and bars.
Boxi Park is an awesome outdoor venue with food truck-style eateries, bars, a playground, and more. There’s also a large, covered stage area that hosts trivia events, live music, and other productions and celebrations throughout the year.
You can kick back and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather with a drink and something to eat while your pup hangs with you by your side.
When your four-legged friend is getting a little restless, take them over to Barxi Park, an off-leash, fenced dog park for dogs of all sizes.
Boxi Park has even been known to host dog-friendly events like Dog Mom Day, featuring doggy food specials, live music, and other treats for you and your pup.
BarkHaven
BarkHaven is the perfect place for dogs and humans alike to socialize and enjoy the vibrant foodie scene of Orlando.
Located in the colorful Ivanhoe Village area of the city, BarkHaven is the “ultimate canine paradise.”
A large fenced-in turf area is perfect for letting dogs wander and play off-leash while being supervised by their owners and dog-loving staff known as “Pack Leaders.”
Inside, the air-conditioned bar and restaurant have plenty of seating, big screen TVs, and fun decor for an experience both humans and dogs will love.
Enjoy a full menu of amazing food like wings, burgers, pizzas, and salads. Worried your pup might feel like they’re missing out? There’s a Puppy Menu, too, with plenty of healthy, dog-friendly food items.
Be sure to check out their signature and specialty cocktails, as well as their calendar of events like trivia nights, breed meet-ups, singles nights, and more.
Humans can visit BarkHaven for free, while registered dogs need a paid day pass or membership to take advantage of everything BarkHaven has to off-fur.
Lake Eola Farmers Market

For 35 years, the Lake Eola Farmers Market in downtown Orlando has been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
It’s a great spot for foodies, craft enthusiasts, and, of course, dog lovers.
Every Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., vendors gather to sell seasonal fresh produce, homemade baked goods, house plants, delicious food, and so much more.
Typically, there are vendors selling treats, toys, and apparel for dogs, too.
While you’re hanging around the Farmers Market, you can take your pup for a stroll along the lake. There is plenty to see (and sniff), from unique birds to beautiful art installations.
Dougie's Dog Bar
Dougie’s Dog Bar is a brand-new hotspot for people and pups in Orlando’s Packing District.
Here, there’s no shortage of tails wagging as happy, social dogs can play in areas specially designed for maximum furry fun.
Two-legged guests can enjoy cool, refreshing drinks and delicious food at the indoor/outdoor bar, complete with a relaxing patio.
If you’re visiting on a particularly hot Florida day, your dog can keep cool in the dog splash pad or lounging in cooler shaded areas.
Play yard attendants, TVs on every wall, and a stage for live entertainment are the dog biscuit on top of this exciting new Orlando dog bar.
Memberships or day passes are required for four-legged guests, but humans (with or without dogs) can enjoy food, drinks, ambiance, and entertaining dog-watching for free anytime.
