An Epic Valentine’s Day Weekend

Couples' Hands Making a Heart

Treat your special someone to a mini-vacation in Orlando. Need help planning such a romantic trip? We’ve got ideas for you right here. All you need to do is make sure you arrive at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.

Reason to Travel: Love and a Valentine’s Day Package

Our Valentine’s Day package is bookable now through February 29 for travel between February 1 and March 1. There will be some black-out dates, so check our booking calendar. (Click Check Availability to start the booking process which will show you if your dates are available.) This package includes breakfast for two at Plaza Garden Restaurant. If you stay more than two nights, you’ll receive a complimentary bottle of champagne. The best part is this lovely package is only $79.99, plus tax.

First Impressions: Gifts

Our staff will first greet you with superb service, but the weekend is truly yours once we hand over the guestroom key. Even though we’re not around, we can still help you create an atmosphere of pampering. Check out our amenities packages for romantic gift ideas your love will see as soon as you open the door.

Romance Package ($30)

Set the mood with a bottle of champagne, fresh strawberries, and chocolate for dipping. This package takes time to prep, so please give us 48 to 72 hours advance notice.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries ($20)

Share these sweet treats with your sweetheart. This quintessential romantic treat is love on a dish.

Wine Lovers ($15)

If chocolate and strawberries aren’t your style, then settle in with a wine from Barefoot. Chose from chardonnay, pinot grigio, white zinfandel, or cabernet sauvignon.

Champagne ($15)

If you’re not staying more than two nights and can’t get the free champagne, but still want to enjoy this classic bubbly drink, we can deliver it to you room.

Valentine’s Day Activities

There’s a lot to do around Orlando, but only the romantic activities will do for your special weekend.

Swan Boat Ride on Lake Eola ($15/30 minutes)

When locals think of Lake Eola, swans definitely come to mind: both the real kind and the paddle boat kind. Float across the iconic lake in the middle of downtown with your sweetheart by your side.

Bonus Point: Locals and visitors alike vote the park around Lake Eola a romantic destination.

Stroll on the Boardwalk at Disney Springs

Disney Springs has great shopping, dining, and entertainment—and is also one of our favorite romantic destinations. Take a romantic boat ride to The Boathouse for upscale waterfront dining and then treat each other to sweets at Ghirardelli® Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. Splurge to admire the sunset in each other’s eyes from Aerophile, the hot air balloon ride on the West Side ($20 per adult).

Valentine’s Day Dining

If The Boathouse doesn’t make it onto your romantic weekend itinerary, no worries. Here are more ideas:

Jack’s Place at Rosen Plaza

At our sister hotel next door is our favorite gourmet steakhouse. Amber lighting, rich dark woods, and hundreds of caricatures adorn the wall to make this an elegant and unique dining experience. Check out the menu for seasonal specials.

Happy Hour at Pointe Orlando

Set out on foot for happy hour right across from the hotel at Pointe Orlando, International Drive’s destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment.

iLounge Istanbul at ICON Park

Redefine nightcap as a romantic event at this upscale and cozy cocktail lounge. Specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and hookah are on the menu. All night long, you’ll have The Wheel at Icon Park illuminated behind you, creating an impressive backdrop for that #datenight selfie.

The Glass Knife in Winter Park

Ask to sit in the date booth, if it’s available. Unfortunately there’s only one at The Glass Knife. Here you’ll enjoy decadent dessert and doughnuts.

Coffee in the Courtyard in Winter Park

This isn’t a restaurant, per se – it’s more of a romantic alcove with limited seating that’s neatly tucked away from the main traffic on Park Avenue. It’s the perfect place to snuggle next to your loved one with a freshly brewed macchiato from Barnie’s Coffee and Tea.

Bonus Point: Across the street in Central Park is the Park Avenue Rose Gardens, which everyone should visit for a romantic evening stroll.

If dancing is your style but you prefer to shake it to live music, then check out Tin Roof.

Valentine’s Day Weekend: Sunday Brunch

If you’re making a weekend of Valentine’s Day, consider wrapping up a romantic weekend with brunch. Guests staying through our Valentine’s Day package receive breakfast for two at Plaza Garden Restaurant. If you want to venture off site, check out these places.

’39 Poolside Bar & Grille at Rosen Plaza

Maxine’s on Shine

Dexter’s Thornton Park

Bottomless mimosas and a gourmet brunch menu turns brunch on its head. You’ll find this local’s favorite in Thornton Park, a brief walk from Lake Eola.

Turn Valentine’s Day into a fun-filled weekend. Remember to book the Valentine’s Day package for only $79 a night, plus tax, which includes a breakfast for two. It’s a sweet deal your sweetheart and you will enjoy and an easy way to turn a simple holiday into an unforgettable experience.
