Looking for somewhere to cool off in the scorching Florida summer heat? Look no further than Aquatica. SeaWorld’s waterpark offers everything from high-speed waterslides, to slow moving rivers, wave-pools, and much more.
Aquatica is a perfect place to let the kids run wild and for you to get some much needed relaxation. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your day at the water park.
What to Wear
This one might be obvious but it’s a waterpark, so dress to get wet. Even if you plan on lounging around all day and not swim, chances are you’ll get splashed on at least a little bit. Throw on your swimsuit and some loose clothing on top of it, along with some flip flops, and you’re all set. Lockers are available for rent to store any items not being used.
What to Eat
While Aquatica encourages you to bring snacks, water, and special dietary items, they request that you don’t bring in full meals. Lunches, drinks, and snacks are available at Aquatica’s Banana Beach, Mango Market, or Waterstone Grill.
What to Leave at Home
Sunglasses may be essential at most theme parks. If you plan on swimming or riding rides all day, you may find them to be an inconvenience. If you plan on sunbathing for most of the day, however, you may want to bring them along.
Clean clothes and towels are always a great idea, but surprisingly they aren’t essential. Just by taking a quick stroll around the park, you’ll find that the sun does an amazing job of drying you off before you head home.
