Epcot’s third annual International Festival of the Arts kicks off on January 18, 2019 and runs through February 25, 2019. The popular event brings visual, performance, and culinary arts front and center, creating a sensory trinity to celebrate each of these artistic methods. Artwork is even on sale throughout the park, allowing you to bring home that piece that really strikes a chord with you.
A handful of galleries are situated throughout the World Showcase, offering viewers a glimpse into artistry and traditions from around the world. These galleries are widely varied: the Stave Church Gallery at the Norway Pavilion has a “Gods of the Vikings” exhibit that features authentic Viking artifacts to teach about Norse mythology; the China Pavilion’s House of the Whispering Willows shows the story behind the creation of the Shanghai Disney Resort; Japan’s “cute” culture, also known as “kawaii,” is explored at the Bijutsu-kan Gallery at the Japan Pavilion. There are many more galleries to see.
