Marc Anthony’s latest tour around the world was forced to postpone due to COVID-19. Now, with more cities, states, and countries safely reopening, Anthony is ready to resume performing. Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., fans in Central Florida will get their long-awaited taste of Marc Anthony’s Opus World Tour.
The Orlando show on Anthony’s Opus World Tour was originally scheduled for March 8, 2020. At that time, Anthony was suffering from major back pain and advised by doctors to rest, which also meant postponing the show until April 2. Then, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, a concert became too much of a health and safety risk for not only Anthony, but also his fans. Now, with the show officially rescheduled for November 7, Amway Center is eager to welcome concertgoers with additional hand sanitizer stations and elevated sanitization of elevator buttons, handrails, and other high-traffic touchpoints.
Opus and the Opus World Tour
Anthony’s first studio album in six years, Opus is a fast-paced salsa project released May 2019 — months before the start of the Opus World Tour. Featuring billboard-topping tracks such as “Tu Vida en La Mia,” Opus has quickly become a mainstream tropical addition to Anthony’s discography.
