Orlando Theme Park Races in February

Orlando Theme Park Races in February Keep your New Year’s resolution going strong while you race your way through Orlando’s most thrilling theme parks. This year, Universal Orlando Resort™ and SeaWorld® Orlando are pulling out all the stops to offer their most exhilarating events yet. Theme park fans and runners alike can test their endurance (and love for roller coasters) by taking part in inaugural races put on by each attraction. Check out everything these events have in store for 2020.

Universal Orlando Resort™ Epic Character Race

Earlier this year, Universal Orlando Resort™ announced the first ever Running Universal Epic Character Race 5K and 10K. Participants in the event, running February 1–2, 2020, will have the opportunity to meet iconic characters while racing through the Orlando theme parks. Make your race a weekend to remember with one of the following registration packages.

  • Race Registration – Participants can either run a 5K or 10K through the heart of Universal Studios and race alongside their favorite characters. Runners will be rewarded with prizes like race gear, a coveted race medal, and a certificate.
  • Race Registration + Theme Park Ticket Bundle – Don’t run by Orlando’s best roller coasters without riding them, too. After a long race, reward yourself with full access to Universal Studios™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™.
  • Epic Fan Registration – Cheer on your favorite runner with reserved seating and refreshments as they race towards the finish line. Don’t forget to dress in your Epic Race gear and take advantage of complimentary parking.

To get the most out of your race registration, upgrade to VIP. For an extra cost, you’ll earn a post-race VIP breakfast and gain access to an exclusive character meet-and-greet. If you’re registered as an Epic Fan, you’ll also have the option to order the Theme Park Ticket Bundle.

SeaWorld® Orlando Rescue Run

If you’re looking to race for a worthy cause, mark your calendars for the SeaWorld Rescue Run on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Every dollar of race proceeds will benefit the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fun, which supports animal rescue, habitat protection, and worldwide conservation education programs.

  • Race Amenities – For helping such a worthy cause, SeaWorld wants to offer runners some worthy perks. Runners will receive a day-of park ticket offer, commemorative race gear, access to the Finish Line Festival, and much more.
  • SeaWorld® Rescue Kids Run – If you have little ones eager to stretch their legs, bring them to the Kids Run that kicks off after the main event. Open to children seven and under, this race will let your kids test their skills and earn a medal like yours.
  • Spectator Educational Presentation Ticket – After the Rescue Run, you will also have free access to an exclusive Killer Whale Educational Presentation, so you can learn exactly how your endurance has benefited the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.
