Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando Reviews
See What Others Have Said About Their Stay
While we consider ourselves one of the best hotels in Orlando, it only matters if our guests agree. If you’re planning a visit to Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando, we invite you to see us through the eyes of your fellow travelers by reading the hotel reviews below.
Stayed once again at our favourite hotel! Arrived early evening and was given a ground floor room that we had requested. Bonus — close to the reception. Negative — also close to an outside court area, which was noisy at nighttime. Rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels provided. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with ample choices and the serving staff was well-mannered as usual. On-site shop was pretty expensive, so would recommend the Walgreens across the drive to stock up on amenities. Getting to SeaWorld was easy with an I-Trolley stop outside the hotel. Universal was just as easy. Get the No. 38 Lynx bus across the drive and it takes you to Universal, and you can also catch it back later in the day, unlike the free shuttle that you have to pre-book. Disney is the sticking point. If you use Lynx buses, you start with the No. 8 to Harbor Drive near SeaWorld, then transfer to the 350 to Disney Springs, then transfer to 300 for the transport centre. For those on a budget, it's $4.50 daily ticket return per person, but it tends to take an hour and a half to get there. If you’re going to Magic Kingdom, it's not too bad, but if you're going to other Disney parks, you can add another hour after arriving at the transportation center. Buses run till 10 at night but are not frequent enough to avoid waiting in the heat. Cheaper than Uber or Lyft I suppose. Nice eateries near the hotel and not too expensive. All in all another great stay but could just do with modernizing the room furniture.
This is a budget hotel. It advertises itself as such. There is a big sign overlooking the I-4 that says, “Orlando’s Best Vacation Value.” However, the service, amenities, staff, and cleanliness of this hotel are far from budget. The site is vast, the layout is well planned and everywhere is well kept and well maintained. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, are cleaned daily, and even on some occasions have the decor touched up post check-out as we witnessed one day. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and professional and also greet you with a “Hello” or at the very least a smile. The Lite Bite is well stocked. The bar has plenty of choices, both food and drink, and the restaurant, while a little dated, offers a good variety of breakfast and a plentiful selection for an evening meal. We did eat in there once at night and had a good meal with lots of choices. I really can't say much more other than it exceeded my expectations, which as the title said were realistic to begin with. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because it isn't a 5-star hotel, but the service is.
Excellent stay at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando. Check-in was quick and easy. The grounds are large and well maintained, and there is ample parking and it’s free. Our room was in block A, poolside, but toward the I-4 end. You could hear the freeway, but it didn’t bother us. Due to the position of our room, it was quite dark but, there’s good lighting in the room. The room itself is a good size with two queen beds. The room was cleaned with fresh towels daily. There’s also excellent storage. The breakfast was excellent and varied most days. We ate at various times and never had an issue getting a table. All of the staff at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Right across the road from Pointe Orlando and a 10-minute walk from ICON Park. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back.
I was a little worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but I can honestly say I was very happy. The rooms, although dated, had everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. Having free AC was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very disabled-friendly. Car parking was free for the entire stay, which is uncommon. The pool and site were very clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily. If you're just planning to be out most days and just need a base, this hotel is perfect. My room was situated right beside I-4, but once in the room you couldn't hear it, and the hotel is central to all the parks.
Before we arrived we were a bit concerned after reading some reviews. However there was nothing to be worried about! Our room was clean and quiet overlooking the pool on the 3rd floor. I agree that I wouldn't want a room overlooking the main highway so request a pool view room. Location is great, with free parking and comfortable beds. Yes the hotel is a bit dated but it's so much cheaper than most other hotels in the area. We had breakfast a couple of days which was good for the price. Pool was also clean. Overall a great hotel for the price in a great location.
Wonderful stay near all the points of attraction! Free onsite parking, security and friendly staff available for late check-in and early check-out. Will be staying here again next time I go to the parks!
Just stayed at this hotel with my little dog for three nights. I chose this hotel because of the amenities, like the free Universal shuttle, free secured parking, no resort fee, and low pet fees. With that said, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Hotel is super clean. My room was a bit dated in style, but it was immaculately clean, not a single dirty corner in the room which is amazing. Only thing that was challenging, I continued to get lost every day in the lot… with one ways and shut roads it was a little confusing. Other than this, super great for the price and location and amenities!
