Now in its 21st year, the annual Festival Calle Orange is one of Orlando’s largest cultural events. This festival fits days’ worth of entertainment into a handful of hours. Featuring a ton of Latin-inspired dances, songs, and dishes, Calle Orange draws in visitors of diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate the Hispanic community. On October 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Calle Orange comes to Central Florida, and here’s everything you need to know to be prepared.
Featuring three live-entertainment stages, the festival promises to provide endless opportunities that cater to everyone’s taste. Over 40 artists take the spotlight during this jam-packed day of cultural celebration to provide nonstop live performances. The festival has hosted countless Latin performers over the years, including:
- Eva Longoria
- El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico
- Tito Rojas
- Grupo Mania
Because colors on a flag aren’t the only things that define culture, Calle Orange brings together the music, dancing, and cuisine of multiple Hispanic communities. The festival paints the streets with vendors and sponsors offering culture-specific entertainment, so you can plan exactly which ones you want to see or surprise yourself with all the festival has to offer.
Calle Orange spans over 10 city blocks of downtown Orlando. The streets of Orange Avenue fill with music, games, and dancing as the festival heats up during the day. Tickets to the festival are only available at the entrance gate, and they cost less for those who come out to celebrate earlier. Here’s a breakdown of ticket prices at different times of the day.
- 12 p.m.–1 p.m.: $5
- 1 p.m.–2 p.m.: $10
- After 2 p.m.: $15
You can bring the whole family along for a day of cultural celebration, because children under 10 enter the festival for free.
