With the temperature at a brisk 23 degrees Fahrenheit, the Minus5˚ Ice Bar on International Drive brings a cool place to escape the Florida heat.
Just like other Minus5˚ Ice Bars around the country, everything, with the exception of the floor and ceiling, is made of ice. The bar, tables, seats, walls, and even the drink glasses are all 100% ice.
The Minus5˚ Ice Bar in Orlando reflects the personality of the city. Upon entering, you are greeted by ice sculptures of iconic Central Florida fixtures like palm trees, space shuttles, depictions of sea creatures, and a surfboard which makes the perfect photo-op.
Unlike some bars in the area, Minus5˚ is open to all ages. Basic admission is $19 for those 16 and older and $10 for anyone under 16. Admission gets you into the bar and provides you with a parka and a set of gloves to keep warm while you experience the mystique of the bar. Minus5˚ is open Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Fridays through Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Kids are free before 9 p.m. For $39 you can upgrade your admission to include two cocktails for adults or non-alcoholic drinks in addition to the admission features mentioned above.
If you want to take your ice bar experience to the next level, then give one of the two VIP options a try. For $55 you get admission, a faux fur coat in your choice of white or black, gloves, a drink, and a souvenir hat to take home with you. For an additional $20 you can have all of that, plus a framed photo keepsake and two more drinks.
Minus5˚ Orlando is located downstairs at Pointe Orlando on International Drive, and is just a short distance from the Rosen Inn. If you’re planning an Orlando getaway, the Rosen Inn is the perfect place to recharge after a long day of fun in the sun (or on the ice). To book your stay with us, call 407-996-8585.
