Drift Away with Orlando’s Lazy Rivers

Looking for a way to cool off and relax during your Orlando vacation? One of Orlando’s many lazy rivers may be the perfect solution. You are sure to find the right pace and scenery with a total of over three miles worth of lazy river real estate. If you’re taking a day off from the warm Florida climate to cool off at a water park, here are some of our favorites that we think you should check out.

Loggerhead Lane at Aquatica®

Sight-see as you float and relax on Loggerhead Lane at Aquatica®. This lazy river takes you through the Commerson’s dolphin habitat, allowing you a unique view of the dolphins and other tropical sea life.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach

An impressive record to hold, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is home to Orlando’s longest lazy river. Measuring over half a mile in length, Cross Country Creek takes about 40 minutes to complete, giving you plenty of time to drift away into your own world. The river does a circuit around the park, giving it the added benefit of being an excellent way to travel to other portions of the park.

LEGOLAND ® Florida

If you happen to be a LEGO fan or your family has some youngsters that are looking for a unique adventure, the Build-a-Raft River at the LEGOLAND® water park is perfect. Kids and adults alike can customize their raft with giant LEGO blocks and show off their creations as they float down the river.
